A Service for the Funeral Industry
NetMemories Inc. is a community for the funeral industry. We offer
services specifically to funeral homes by offering online memorials to
funeral homes to extend the service of memorial for families and
friends.
The communications revolution is bringing rapid and profound changes in
every aspect of our lives, including the way we remember our departed
loved ones.
NetMemories.com is a place where family and friends have an eternal
place to celebrate the lives of the living and the dearly departed.
People from everywhere in the world can now reflect, reminisce, rejoice,
and even contribute 24 hours a day in accommodation of their busy
schedules.
Our loved ones must simply not fade away. By creating a NetMemorial, the
essence of their being can be brought to life through photographs,
video, audio, poems, stories, and remembrances. Accomplishments,
milestones, memories and cherished moments can be recorded and shared
forever.
When there is more than one NetMemorial in a family, you have the
beginnings of an Internet Family Tree. You can link many family members
together by requesting Hyperlinks to other pages. A family may want to
create a separate NetMemorial with links to all NetMemorials in the
family. A NetMemorial is also a place where future generations can learn
about their ancestors. We all have a deep desire to know who we are and
where we come from. Families are encouraged to set up sites and
contribute to them so that we are not lost in haze of the past. Many of
us are the last links to the past. We know the family history and know
where the photographs are. Build a NetMemorial for each of your departed
relatives so future generations can share in their lives. Visitors can
interact by leaving condolences and their own personal messages when
they sign the guest book on each NetMemorial. They may also create a
page containing their own special remembrances and have it linked back.
We host an open online discussion forum. Members and non-members can
post messages or respond to others. It is a place to seek answers, offer
advice and simply exchange ideas.
If you are in need of a support group to get you through a difficult
time, we have links to many. Please let us know of any others we should
list.
We also offer self-directed NetMemorials. You can begin construction one
while you are still alive. We encourage it. List your accomplishments,
highlights of your life, photos, video, stories, etc. It is never too
early to begin. You can instruct us to publish the site upon your death.
Many people feel that pets are part of the family. We welcome you to
build a PetMemorials for any pet in the same way you would for any other
family member.
We welcome everyone and are not affiliated with any church or religious
group. When you create a free or paid NetMemorial you automatically
become a member of the NetMemories.com community family.
We look forward to you becoming a member soon!
Testimonials
Computer technology has opened the doors to providing information about
many experiences that we wanted to share with others: births,
celebrations and deaths. All of life's experiences provide unique
memories to be shared with the world. NetMemories provided us the
opportunity to share our experiences with our family and friends around
the globe. Not only did NetMemories provide a place but they helped us
with an internet family tree. We now sell family reunion tee shirts and
other family madegoods through NetMemories.com. NetMemories also
provided us information on how to plan our wedding and respectfully put
our Father to rest. John Robertson
Memories are precious. NetMemories will assist you in preserving and
announcing your memories and marketing services that promote and
preserve memories. Explore the NetMemories website for memorable
occasions past, present, and future. The possibilities are only limited
by your imagination. Some of these include obituaries; birthdays,
retirements and anniversaries; wedding celebrations, parties, class
reunions, college events and homecomings, and most of all family
reunions (photographs may be included). Any occasion and service worth
remembering deserves a NetMemorial. Sarah Darsetta
