Lance Cpl. Robert L. Moscillo , 21, of Salem, NH; 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, CA, Died while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Anbar Province.
Cpl. Robbie G. Light , 21, of Kingsport, TN,; 1st Battalion, 67th Armored Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Tex. Died of injuries sustained when a makeshift bomb exploded near his M1A2 Abrams tank during combat operations in Baghdad.
Cpl. Stephen R. Bixler , 20, of Suffield, CN; Marine Reserves, 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Died while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Anbar Province.
Capt. Brian S. Letendre , 27, of Woodbridge, VA; Marine Reserves, Marine Forces Reserves Inspector and Instructor Staff, 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Plainville, Conn. Died while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Anbar Province.
Pfc. Christopher M. Eckhardt , 19, of Phoenix, AZ; Army, 4th Battalion, 42nd Field Artillery, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Tex. Died from a non-combat related cause in Taji. The incident is under investigation.
Pfc. Benjamin T. Zieske , 20, of Concord, CA; Army, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky. Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded during a dismounted patrol in Kirkuk.
Sgt. Joseph E. Proctor , 38, of Indianapolis, IN; Army National Guard, 638th Battalion (Aviation), Army National Guard, Shelbyville, Ind. Died when a suicide, vehicle-borne, makeshift bomb exploded near his observation post during dismounted combat patrol operations in Tammin.
Sgt. Elisha R. Parker , 21, of Taberg, NY; Marines, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif. Died while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Anbar Province.
Spc. Bryan L. Quinton , 24, of Sand Springs, OK; Army, 5th Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Died when a makeshift bomb exploded near his RG-31 Mine Protected Vehicle during combat operations in Baghdad.
Staff Sgt. Gavin B. Reinke , 32, of Pueblo, CO; Army, 5th Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Died when a makeshift bomb exploded near his RG-31 Mine Protected Vehicle during combat operations in Baghdad.
Pvt. Alva L. Gaylord , 25, of Carrollton, MO; Missouri Army National Guard, 110th Engineer Battalion, Army National Guard, Kansas City, Mo. Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded near his RG-31 Mine Protected Vehicle during a combat clearing operation in Qasr Ar Riyy.
1st Sgt. Carlos N. Saenz , 46, of Las Vegas, NV; Army Reserves, 490th Civil Affairs Battalion, U.S. Army Reserve, Abilene, Tex. Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded near his Humvee during combat operations in Baghdad.
Sgt. Nathan J. Vacho , 29, of Janesville, WI; Army Reserves, 489th Civil Affairs Battalion, U.S. Army Reserve, Knoxville, Tenn. Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded near his Humvee during combat operations in Baghdad.
Spc. Teodoro Torres , 29, of  Las Vegas, NV; Army Reserves, 490th Civil Affairs Battalion, U.S. Army Reserve, Abilene, Tex. Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded near his Humvee during combat operations in Baghdad.
Sgt. Matthew J. Fenton , 24, of  Little Ferry, NJ; Marines, Marine Forces Reserves Inspector and Instructor Staff, 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Fort Devens, Mass. Died May 6 at National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Md., from wounds received while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Anbar Province on April 26.
Staff Sgt. Dale J. Kelly Jr. , 48, of  Richmond, MA; Army National Guard, 172nd Infantry (Mountain), Army National Guard, Brewer, Maine. Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded near his M1083 cargo truck during combat operations in Ad Diwaniyah.
Cpl. Cory L. Palmer , 21, of  Seaford, DE; Marines, 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Died at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Tex., from wounds received while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Anbar Province.
