Army 1st Sgt. Joe J. Garza, 43, of Robstown, Texas; assigned to 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment based in Fort Benning, Ga.; killed April 28 when he was struck by a civilian vehicle after falling out of a Humvee that swerved to avoid a civilian vehicle in Baghdad.
Army 1st Lt. Osbaldo Orozco, 26, of Delano, Calif.; assigned to C Company, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment based in Fort Hood, Texas; killed April 25 when his vehicle rolled over while traveling through rough terrain. His unit was the quick reaction force and was responding to enemy fire.
Army Spc. Narson B. Sullivan, 21, of North Brunswick, N.J.; assigned to the 411th Military Police Company based in Fort Hood, Texas; killed April 25 by a non-combat weapon discharge in Iraq. The incident is under investigation.
Army Sgt. Troy David Jenkins, 25, of Ridgecrest, Calif.; assigned to B Company, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment based in Fort Campbell, Ky.; died from wounds received as a result of an explosion April 19 while on a dismounted patrol with other soldiers in Iraq. He died from his injuries on April 24 at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany.
Marine Chief Warrant Officer Andrew Todd Arnold, 30, of Spring, Texas; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade based in Camp Lejeune, N.C.; killed April 22 in a non-hostile accident when a rocket-propelled grenade launcher being fired for familiarization malfunctioned near Kut, Iraq. The incident is under investigation.
Army Spc. Roy Russell Buckley, 24, of Portage, Ind.; assigned to the 685th Transportation Company, based in Hobart, Ind.; killed April 22 when he fell from an M818 truck traveling in a convoy. The incident is under investigation.
Chief Warrant Officer Robert William Channell Jr., 36, of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade based in Camp Lejeune, N.C.; killed April 22 in a non-hostile accident when a rocket-propelled grenade launcher being fired for familiarization malfunctioned near Kut, Iraq. The incident is under investigation.

Cpl. Armando Ariel Gonzalez, 35, of Hileah, Fla., assigned to the Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS)-273, Marine Wing Support Group (MWSG)-27, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, S.C., Killed April 14 in a non-hostile accident when a commercial refueler collapsed at Logistics Supply Area Viper in southern Iraq

Spc. Richard A. Goward, 32, of Midland, Mich., assigned to the 1460th Transportation Company, Midland, Mich., Killed April 14 when his truck entered a dust cloud and rear-ended the truck in front of him

Cpl. Jason David Mileo, 20, of Centreville, Md., assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, Twenty-nine Palms, Calif., Shot and killed April 14 after being mistaken for an enemy soldier near Baghdad

Spc. Thomas A. Foley III, 23, of Dresden, Tenn., assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, Fort Campbell, Ky., Killed April 14 when a grenade exploded inside his HMMWV
