Cpl. Garrywesley T. Rimes, 30, of Santa Maria, Ca.; 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Ca. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, Rimes was attached to 2nd Marine Division. Killed by hostile action in Anbar province.
Lance Cpl. Tenzin Dengkhim, 19, of Falls Church, Va.; 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Killed by hostile action in Anbar province.
Staff Sgt. Ioasa F. Tavae, Jr. , 29, of Pago Pago, American Somoa.; 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, WA.  Killed during an attack in Mosul.
Sgt. James A. Sherrill , 27, of Ekron, KY; 2113th Transportation Company, Army National Guard, Paducah, KY. Killed by a makeshift bomb in Bayji.
Cpl. William D. Richardson , 23, of Moreno Valley, CA; 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Fort Riley, KS. Killed when he came under enemy fire and fell into a canal in Baghdad.
Lance Cpl. Jeremiah C. Kinchen, 22, of Salcha, AK; 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Corps Reserves, San Antonio. Killed in combat in Anbar province.
Staff Sgt. Christopher W. Dill , 32, of Tonawanda, NY; 2nd Battalion, 390th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 98th Division, U.S. Army Reserve, Buffalo, NY. Killed during an attack on their patrol in Balad Ruz.
Sgt. 1st Class Stephen C. Kennedy , 35, of Oak Ridge, TN; 1st Squadron, 278th Armored Calvary Regiment, Army National Guard, Lenoir City, TN. Killed during an attack on their partol in Balad Ruz.
Spc. Glenn J. Watkins , 42, of Carlsbad, CA; 1st Battalion, 161st Infantry, Army National Guard, Kent, WA. Killed by a car bomb in Baghdad.
Sgt. Javier J. Garcia , 25, of Crawfordville, FL; 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA. Killed by a makeshift bomb while on patrol in Baghdad.
Lance Cpl. Juan C. Venegas , 21, of Simi Valley, CA; 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, 29 Palms, CA. Killed in a vehicle accident in Anbar province.
Staff Sgt. Kevin D. Davis , 41, of Lebanon, OR; G Troop, 82nd Calvary, Army National Guard, Redmond, OR. Died in Balad from injuries sustained in a roadside bomb blast in Hawijah.
Spc. Casey M. LeWare , 19, of Redding, CA; 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Calvary Regiment, Fort Irwin, CA. Died at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany of injuries sustained on April 6 in Mahmudiyah, Iraq when his guard tower caught fire.
Cpl. Tyler J. Dickens , 20, of Columbus, GA; 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Calvary Regiment, Fort Irwin, CA. Died at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX of injuries sustained on April 6 in Mahmudiyah, Iraq when his guard tower caught fire.
Sgt. John W. Miller , 21, of West Burlington, IA; 224th Engineer Battalion, Army National Guard, Burlington, IA. Killed during an attack while conducting route clearance operations in Ramadi.
Spc. Manuel Lopez III , 20, of Cape Coral, FL; 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA. Killed when a rocket-propelled grenade struck his Humvee in Baghdad.
Cpl. Michael B. Lindemuth , 27, of Petoskey, MI; Inspector/Instructor Staff, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Akron, OH. Killed by enemy mortar fire in Camp Hit, Anbar province.
Capt. James C. Edge , 31, of Virginia Beach, VA; 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, CA. Killed by small arms fire in Ramadi.
Spc. Aleina Ramirezgonzalez , 33, of Hormigueros, PR; 3rd Brigade Troop Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA. Killed when a mortar struck the forward operating base in Tikrit.
Spc. Randy L. Stevens , 21, of Swartz Creek, MI; 2nd Battalion, 17th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Hovey, Korea. Killed while conducting military operations in Ramadi.
Sgt. Tromaine K. Toy Sr. , 24, of Eastville, VA; 2nd Battalion, 17th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Hovey, Korea. Killed while conducting military operations in Ramadi.
Sgt. Angelo L. Lozada, Jr. , 36, of Brooklyn, NY; 2nd Battalion, 17th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Hovey, Korea. Killed while conducting military operations in Ramadi.
Pfc. Aaron M. Hudson , 20, of Highland Village, TX; 401st Military Police Company, 720th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, Ft. Hood, TX. Died in Baghdad from injuries sustained April 15 in Camp Taji when a makeshift bomb detonated near his patrol.
Pfc. Steven F. Sirko , 20, of Portage, IN; 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, GA. Died in Muqdadiyah of non-combat related injuries.
Pfc. Joseph L. Knott , 21, of Yuma, AZ; 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment, Fort Carson, CO. Killed during an attack on his convoy in Baghdad.
Pfc. Sam W. Huff , 18, of Ticspm, AZ; 170th Military Police Company, 504th Military Police Battalion, 42nd Military Police Brigade, Fort Lewis, WA. Died of injuries sustained on April 17 in a makeshift bomb attack in Baghdad.
Maj. Steven W. Thornton , 46, of Eugene, OR; U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, NJ. Collapsed during physical training in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
Pfc. Kevin S. K. Wessel , 20, of Newport, OR; 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, Fort Stewart, GA. Killed by a car bomb while on patrol in Baghdad.
