Sgt. Marshall A. Westbrook, 43, of Farmington, NM; 126th Military Police Company, Army National Guard, Albuquerque, NM. Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded near his Humvee in Baghdad.
Spc. Joshua J. Kynoch, 23, of Santa Rosa, CA; 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA. Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded near his Bradley fighting vehicle during convoy operations in Bayji.
Staff Sgt. Jens E. Schelbert, 31, of New Orleans, LA; 2nd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, GA. Killed when his forward operating base was attacked by enemy forces in Ar Ramadi.
Staff Sgt. Timothy J. Roark, 29, of Houston, TX; 4th Battalion, 123rd Aviation Regiment, Fort Wainwright, AK. Died of a non-combat related injury.
Cpl. John R. Stalvey, 22, of Conroe, TX; 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, NC. Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded while conducting combat operations against enemy forces during Operation Iron Fist in Karabilah.
Sgt. Sean B. Berry, 26, of Mansfield, TX; 2nd Battalion, 112th Armor, 56th Brigade Combat Team, Army National Guard, Fort Worth, TX. Died of non-combat related injuries in Taqaddum.
Sgt. Larry W. Pankey, Jr., 34, of Morrison, CO; 467th Engineer Battalion, U.S. Army Reserves, Greenwood, MS. Died at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. of non-combat related injuries sustained in Balad, Iraq on September 23.
Sgt. Bryan W. Large, 31, of Cayahoga Falls, OH; 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC. Died when an improvised explosive device detonated near their Humvee during combat operations in Haqlaniyah.
Spc. Jacob T. Vanderbosch, 21, of Vadnais Heights, MN; 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC. Died when a makeshift bomb exploded near his Humvee during combat operations in Haqlaniyah.
Pfc. Roberto C. Baez, 19, of Tampa, FL.; 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC. Died when a makeshift bomb exploded near his Humvee during combat operations in Haqlaniyah.
