Spc. Joseph Martinez, 21, of Las Vegas, NV; 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment, Fort Carson, CO. Killed by enemy forces when on dismounted patrol in Tal Afar.
Sgt. Obediah Kolath, 32, of Louisburg, MO; U.S. Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, NC. Died in Landstuhl of injuries sustained when a makeshift bomb detonated near his position is Husaybah.
Chief Warrant Officer Dennis Hay, 32, of Valdosta, GA; 4th Squadron, 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment, Fort Carson, CO. Killed when his Kiowa helicopter came under attack by enemy forces in Tal Afar.
2nd Lt. Charles Rubado, 23, of Clearwater, FL; 1st Squadron, 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment, Fort Carson, CO. Killed when his tank came under attack by enemy forces in Tal Afar.
Maj. Gregory Fester, 41, of Grand Rapids, MI; U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command, U.S. Army Reserves, Fort Bragg, NC. Killed when a makeshift bomb detonated near his dismounted patrol in Iskandariyah.
Spc. Jason Ames, 21, of Cerulean, KY; 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), Fort Lewis, WA. Died from non-combat related injuries in Mosul.
Cpt. Lowell Miller II, 35, of Flint, MI; 1st Battalion, 155th Infantry Regiment, Army National Guard, McComb, MS. Killed when his military training team was conducting operations with the Iraqi Army and they came under attack by enemy forces in Iskandariyah.
Sgt. Monta Ruth, 26, of Winston-Salem, NC; 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, GA. Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded near his military vehicle during security patrol in Samarra.
Sgt George Draughn Jr. , 29, of Decatur, GA; 108th Calvary Regiment, 48th Infantry Brigade, Army National Guard, Griffin, GA. Killed when a makeshift bomb detonated near his Humvee during patrol operations in Baghdad.

Sgt. First Class Lonnie Parson , 39, of Norcross, GA; 3rd Squadron, 7th Calvary Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA. Killed when his Bradley fighting vehicle was struck by a makeshift bomb in Baghdad.
Sgt Matthew Bohling, 22, of Eagle River, AK; 2nd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, GA. Killed when a makeshift bomb detonated near his Humvee during combat operations in Ar Ramadi.
